Australia, Kenya, Brazil, Palestine...

On the trails of permaculture, an anthropologist/market gardener and a development project evaluator/food security analyst go on a quest for tools that will enable a sustainable agricultural transition...

Our Objectives

We believe that changes are necessary for all to live in a healthier world. These changes need to start with agriculture, and human creativity.

With Trailing Seeds, we want to understand the tools that permaculture offers to re-imagine sustainable agro-ecological techniques, and a new productive socio-economic dynamic. We also want to understand how to integrate permaculture in development projects so as to reinforce food security at all possible levels.

Help us!

Our crowdfunding campaign has successfully reached its goal thanks to all of our donors. Please visit our former crowdfunding page: http://www.babeldoor.com/trailing-seeds/dashboard

Our Project

Why? Because it belongs to each and everyone of us to take a stand in the transition that concerns us all.

How? By working on permaculture and agro-ecological farms. By combining different and complimentary competences between Clio and Olivia. By understanding what risks and opportunities permaculture entails.

Where? First, Australia, then, Kenya, Latin America and the Middle East.

When? November 2013-March 2014: Australia

March-May 2014: Thailand

To be continued...!

Permaculture...

In a snapshot, permaculture is a new technique applicable to agriculture and garden production. It enables us to regain a sense of food and productive sovereignty at the individual and collective level.

It is also a philosophie that re-designs the links between men and their productive environment. Working on any land starts out with the observation of the micro-systems and eco-diversity naturally present on the land at hand.
